Kyrgyzstan’s Border Service Reports Shelling of Kyrgyz Village by Tajik Soldiers

Tajik soldiers have started shelling a Kyrgyz village. This information has been reported by the press center of Kyrgyzstan’s Border Service.

According to RIA Novosti, during negotiations between border representatives of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, Tajik border guards opened fire on officers of Kyrgyzstan’s State Committee for National Security.

As a result of the exchange of fire, one Kyrgyz serviceman was injured. It was noted that at that time, the Tajik side began mortar shelling of the Dostuk village.
