Kilogram of Nettles Growing Under Rotten Curbs Costs 2000 Drams, Not to Mention Other 'Elite' Grasses: Zohrebyan on Price Increases
Political and social figure Naira Zohrebyan raised alarms about the escalating inflation in a Facebook post. She wrote, “Of course, I understand that this has been done by previous governments and has been ‘squeezed’ into the pockets of Armenia's most just government. It’s not excluded that it was done by, for example, the Masonic lodge, or certainly Putin has done it to punish us for Nikol’s visit to Brussels. Let’s not exclude that the two witches discovered by astrologer Mrs. Lyusia could also be involved, but in any case, being informed protects against unexpected anaphylactic shock.
Therefore, I am posting the price increases for essential food items compared to 2021. Thus, bread and bread products have increased by 10%, coffee by 13-15%, tobacco by 10%, vegetable oil by 48-52%, sugar by 50%, dairy products by 25%, fruits by 25-30%, vegetables by 10-15%, garlic by 100%, mixed greens by 60-70%, flour by 12.5%, beverages by 10-13%, and non-food items by 15-20%.
By the way, the meaningless increase of nettles growing under all the rotten curbs has reached 2000 drams per kilogram. Not to mention the other ‘elite’ grasses. Adding to this the explosive rise in utility bills due to the increases in gas and electricity prices, the idyllic dream of Armenia becomes a complete fiasco.”
