We Brought, We Dug the Hole, Just Tell Me When We Are Planting Trees: Mayor to Environmental Protection Department Head

During a meeting at the Yerevan City Hall, the head of the Environmental Protection Department, Gevorg Nazaryan, reported on the efforts related to tree planting at the Tsitsernakaberd height. He noted that the preparatory work is mostly complete.

In response, Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan stated: “Mr. Nazaryan, when can we announce that we are planting trees there? Otherwise, we brought, we placed, we raised, we dug the hole, when are we planting trees? What time frame are we looking at for the tree planting? The problem lies within us, I congratulate you that we have not done the tree planting.”
