Video: Massive Explosion in Mykolaiv Destroys Half of Port, Forest Catches Fire

During the night, Russian and Ukrainian Telegram channels reported a massive explosion in Mykolaiv. According to unconfirmed reports, the strike was delivered by an 'Iskander' missile on the Olvia port located south of Mykolaiv in the Shipbuilding district.

According to the Antituran channel, air raid alerts have been activated in Mykolaiv and Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as in the Artemivsk (Bakhmut) and Kramatorsk districts. The Rybar channel reported that local residents said that windows of some apartment buildings were blown out due to the powerful shockwave, while the ceiling of one apartment collapsed.

The fact that the 'Iskander' strike hit the Olvia port was confirmed by Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv administration. As reported by Lenta, Vitaliy Kim confirmed the fact of a 'large explosion' and stated that they are currently clarifying what occurred.

According to local sources, the strike hit a storage facility for container ships. Unofficial reports indicate that half of the port has been destroyed, and the Balabanivsky forest, located to the east of the port, has caught fire.
