Iran Imposes Sanctions on 15 US Officials
Iran has imposed sanctions on 15 representatives of the US authorities for their involvement in “terrorist attacks.” This information is stated in a message from the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as reported by Mehr.
It is noted that these individuals have played a role in supporting, organizing, and enforcing unilateral coercive measures against the people and government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as in financing and supporting terrorist groups and activities, according to the statement released by the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The unilateral coercive measures applied against the people and government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the deliberate creation of harsh living conditions for the Iranian people by the United States have jeopardized the lives of millions of Iranians and have severely negatively impacted their economic and social rights,” the message states.
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that such illegal measures are a gross violation of fundamental principles of international law and human rights, and are a vivid example of crimes against humanity.
