«Perhaps We Should Convince Russia to Attack Armenia»: Tankian on Western Politics

“Perhaps we should convince Russia to attack Armenia so that the West provides us with weapons and money to fight against Azerbaijan and Turkey.” This statement was made by Serj Tankian, the lead vocalist of System of a Down, on his Twitter microblog, sharing a post by well-known journalist Allison Tahmazyan, which referenced U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken's two statements regarding Azerbaijan's unleashed aggression and Ukraine.

The journalist notes: “Find the difference; the ultimate goal is quite clear.” It should be emphasized that the most evident difference in Blinken's two statements was that while the U.S. expressed concern regarding Azerbaijan, it also allocated $100 million in aid to the country, whereas only concern remains for Armenia.
