No Explosive Device Found in ‘Megamall’
No explosive device has been found in the ‘Megamall’ area following an inspection, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It should be noted that today at 15:32, the National Crisis Management Center received information that an explosive device had been placed in the territory of the ‘Megamall’ shopping center in Yerevan. Emergency response units were dispatched to the scene, including one firefighting team from the Yerevan rescue department and an engineering reconnaissance group from the civil protection department, along with a psychologist on duty from the psychological support division.
Rescuers worked alongside police officers to evacuate approximately 5,000 citizens from the vicinity. There were also reports today indicating that explosive devices were present in the ‘Rossiya Mall’ and ‘Metronome’ shopping centers. However, no explosive devices were found in any of these shopping centers.
