Major Car Accident in Ararat Province: BMW Knocked Down Gas Pipes and Ended Up in a Field, Injured Hospitalized
Today, on April 8, a major car accident occurred in Ararat Province. Around 19:00, a BMW vehicle veered off the road on the 20th kilometer of the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway, crashed into gas pipelines and support poles, and ended up in a field.
According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, two individuals received varying degrees of injuries and were first given initial medical assistance by doctors who arrived promptly from the Artashat hospital, and then were transferred to the 'Erebuni' medical center.
The first to assist the injured were citizens and fire-rescue personnel from the Artashat fire-rescue squad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations who arrived rapidly at the scene.
As a result of the incident, 25 iron support poles were knocked down. Materials are being prepared regarding the case. The police are trying to establish the identity of the driver and the injured.
