EU Expands Personal Sanctions List Again, Targeting 216 Individuals

On April 8, the EU sanctions list included Oleg Deripaska, Said Karimov, Igor Kesaev, the Rotenberg brothers, German Gref, Musa Bazhaev, co-owner of Alliance Group, Grigory Berezkin, owner of ESN Group, Vladimir Bogdanov, CEO of Surgutneftegas, and alleged daughters of Vladimir Putin, Katerina Tikhonova and Maria Vorontsova, as reported by Meduza.

The list also features directors and editors of media outlets, including Pavel Gusev from Moscow Komsomolets, Vladimir Sungorkin from Komsomolskaya Pravda, Sergey Mikhailov from TASS, and Oleg Dobrodeev from the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.

Additionally, the EU has frozen the assets of VTB, Novikombank, Sovcombank, Otkritie, the Kalashnikov concern, and 14 industrial and transportation companies.
