There is No Protest at Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine: Company to Sue Media
Information regarding a potential protest at the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC) is unfounded, and production activities are continuing as usual, stated Roza Grigoryan, the public relations officer for GeoProMining in Armenia, in a conversation with Sputnik Armenia.
It is worth noting that reports concerning ZCMC's activities have gained significant traction in the Armenian press, although, according to ZCMC, the original source of this information was an article published by the newspaper 'Pahst' on April 5 of this year.
Grigoryan assured that employees are coming to work and performing their duties in a calm environment without encountering any obstacles; therefore, the press releases regarding mass discontent or protests have even surprised the management at the combine.
Furthermore, ZCMC's management announced that they will soon file a lawsuit against the media outlet that spread misinformation, tarnishing the reputation of the company's owners and management.
