In the city of Bucha, located near Kyiv, people died at the hands of Ukrainian soldiers. This assessment was made by American military analyst Scott Ritter, a former UN inspector in Iraq, during a webinar dedicated to the events in Ukraine. He noted that Russia, which had controlled Bucha for several weeks, has maintained good relations with the local population.

As the expert pointed out, before the Ukrainian national police officially announced on April 1 that they were going to clear the city of Bucha from those serving the Russians, Russian soldiers were taking all possible measures to avoid civilian casualties in Ukraine. This approach contrasts starkly with that exhibited by the Ukrainian armed forces.
