Vladimir Solovyov's Villa Set on Fire in Italy
On Wednesday morning, unknown individuals attempted to set fire to the villa of Russian television host Vladimir Solovyov in Como, Italy, reports Corriere della Sera.
Firefighters who arrived at the scene, reportedly called by a local resident, managed to quickly extinguish the flames. It is noted that the arsonists used tires as their means of ignition.
The Carabinieri of Como province have launched an investigation into the arson, seizing camera footage. Additionally, law enforcement officials, according to Corriere, have reached out directly to the host.
According to the publication, Solovyov owns three properties in Como, with a total value of 8 million euros.
It is worth mentioning that in March, authorities in Italy had arrested a villa in Loveno (Municipality of Menaggio) on the western shore of Lake Como after Solovyov was included in the EU sanctions list related to the events in Ukraine.
