VIDEO: No Fees for PCR Tests Anymore for Armenians Arriving from Ukraine, Zareh Sinanyan Says
All our social service organizations are doing everything possible to ensure that our compatriots in need of assistance due to the situation in Ukraine can easily come to Armenia. This was stated during an interview with Zareh Sinanyan, the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs.
He noted that the embassies and diplomatic institutions in the diaspora are also actively working with our compatriots. “There was another unpleasant phenomenon regarding our compatriots arriving from Ukraine. In fact, those coming as refugees were required to take a PCR test and were charged a fee if they were not vaccinated. The state could not overlook this. At this moment, anyone who has left Ukraine and is coming to Armenia can state that they have come from Ukraine. They will be directed to the relevant service to take the PCR test, where they will not be charged any fees,” Sinanyan said.
