Ukrainian Side Again Disrupts Evacuation of Civilians and Foreigners from Mariupol
The Ukrainian side has once again disrupted the evacuation of civilians and foreigners from Mariupol. This was announced on April 5 by the head of the National Center for Defense Control of the Russian Federation, Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev.
“Despite the unprecedented measures taken by the Russian Federation in response to the initiatives of Western countries for the evacuation of civilians and foreigners from Mariupol, the humanitarian operation organized and prepared by the Russian side to save them was thwarted,” said Mizintsev.
He noted that “the armed nationalists do not observe the ‘silence regime’ and are increasing the intensity of shelling in the humanitarian corridor area adjacent to Mariupol.”
“The Kyiv authorities are indifferent to the fate of their compatriots,” Mizintsev emphasized.
According to him, Kyiv is unable to control the actions of nationalist groups and ensure the safety of the civilian population.
