Foreign media outlets have recognized the authenticity of the video showing the murder of Russian soldiers two days later. The New York Times has reported that the footage indeed shows the killing of ambushed Russian soldiers by Ukrainian forces on March 30.

Upon examining the clips, the publication concluded that the perpetrators of the massacre are members of the 'Georgian Legion.' According to Readovka's Telegram channel, the report states, 'The killings presumably occurred while Russian troops were retreating from small towns west of Kyiv that had been battlegrounds for weeks.'
