Cuba Lifts All Restrictions for Tourists

The Ministry of Health of Cuba announced on April 6 that it has lifted all sanitary requirements for self-traveling individuals. Entry no longer requires vaccination and PCR test certificates. This information was reported by the Russian Association of Tour Operators (RATO).

In January of this year, authorities had exempted package tourists from submitting COVID-related documents; now this measure will apply to all travelers. The easing of restrictions is attributed to the improvement in the epidemiological situation.

Foreigners, including Russians, no longer need any certificates to enter the country. The only mandatory requirement remaining is the face mask regime. However, it has been clarified that travelers may still be subject to selective testing for coronavirus upon their arrival.

Currently, there are no direct flights from Russia to Cuba. Travelers can reach Havana via Istanbul, as reported by RIA Novosti.
