Citizen Who Fell into River in Syunik Not Found on March 3: Search Operations Ongoing

On April 5, at 07:15, search operations were resumed near the Ajanyan River by an operational team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department, along with one firefighting unit.

It is recalled that on April 3, at 10:49, the regional crisis management center of Syunik received a report that a citizen had fallen into the river from the bridge near Norashenik village. An operational team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and a firefighting unit were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that the citizen (E. P., born in 1978) had jumped into the Ajanyan River from the bridge. Rescuers conducted search operations along the river, but due to darkness, the search efforts were suspended.

On April 4, at 09:25, search operations were resumed with another firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department sent to the site. However, the search was halted again at 19:42 due to darkness without any results.
