Australia Accelerates Plans to Acquire Long-Range Strike Missiles

Australia is accelerating its plans to acquire long-range strike missiles due to the "increasing threats from Russia and China." This was reported by AP.

The country's Defense Minister, Peter Dutton, stated that the expedited rearmament of fighter jets and naval vessels will cost 3.5 billion Australian dollars (2.6 billion USD).

"There was an assumption that China's aggression towards Taiwan might occur in the 2040s. I believe that the timeline has now been dramatically compressed," he said.
