Airbnb Suspends Operations in Russia and Belarus, Bookings to be Canceled

Airbnb users in Russia and Belarus can no longer access the company's services. This announcement was made on Monday, April 4th, in a statement posted on the service's website.

"Airbnb has suspended operations in Russia and Belarus. This means that bookings for accommodations and experiences in Russia and Belarus have been halted, and guests from these countries will no longer be able to book anywhere. It also clarifies that any bookings made from these two countries on or after April 4th will be canceled," the statement added.

Previously, on March 4th, Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky announced the temporary suspension of the online service in Russia and Belarus.
