Russian Airlines to Pay in Rubles for Aircraft Leasing

Russian airlines will pay in rubles for the leasing of imported aircraft. The presidential decree has been published by 'Rossiyskaya Gazeta'. It is noted that the fulfillment of financial obligations for the leasing of aircraft and aviation engines to a number of foreign creditors will temporarily be changed to rubles.

This concerns calculations under leasing agreements, as well as leasing of aircraft, aircraft engines, and power plants from companies in unfriendly countries.
