Russia Engaging in Smuggling of Sanctioned Goods through Georgia, Ukraine's Intelligence Claims

The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense claims that Russia is facilitating a wave of smuggling of sanctioned goods through Georgia.

“Moreover, representatives of Georgian special services have received instructions from the political leadership to not interfere with the activities of smugglers,” the statement reads.

Georgia has denied these allegations. Deputy Speaker of Parliament Georgi Kakhiani has called the Ukrainian intelligence's statement insulting and untrue.
