Disciplinary Proceedings Initiated Against Judge for Failing to Publish Ruling in COVID Isolation
The Supreme Judicial Council is examining a request from the Ministry of Justice regarding disciplinary action against Administrative Court Judge Daniel Danielyan, according to News.am.
Disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against Judge Danielyan for not publishing a court ruling in person while being isolated due to a COVID infection.
The judge's representative, Arthur Ghambaryan, stated regarding the request that the sole form of publishing a court ruling is not limited to reading it in a court session; from the perspective of constitutional rights, it is important that the ruling is accessible to the parties involved.
