Zelensky: 'NATO Does Not Want to Accept Us'
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has reaffirmed his belief that Ukraine's membership in NATO would be a beneficial addition. 'It is difficult for us to talk about NATO because NATO does not want to accept us. I believe this is a mistake, because if we join NATO, we will make NATO much stronger. We are not a weak state; we are not offering ourselves to strengthen NATO at its expense... We are an addition; we are a locomotive,' said Zelensky.
Zelensky noted that it is challenging to predict the timing of the end of the war, describing it as a 'deep, painful issue.' However, he emphasized that apart from victory, the Ukrainian people will not accept any other outcome.
