Pope Francis has announced that he is considering a trip to Kyiv. This information was shared today by American NBC NEWS journalist Claudio Lavanga, who posed the relevant question to the pontiff.

“On my way to Malta, I asked Pope Francis if he was thinking about visiting Kyiv. He replied, ‘Yes, this (the offer) is on the table,’” wrote the journalist.

Earlier, it was reported that the pontiff has received invitations to the capital of Ukraine in recent weeks, including letters from Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
