Ukraine Plans to Change National Anthem Lyrics: Proposed Changes Revealed

The Ukrainian Parliament is aiming to change the lyrics of the national anthem. The text proposed for replacement has been published on the official website of the Ukrainian Parliament.

Specifically, it is suggested to replace the words "Ukraine has not yet died" with "Ukraine is blossoming," and to change "fate will smile on us, brothers Ukrainians" to "fate has already smiled on us, brothers Ukrainians." Additionally, the phrase "our enemies will be destroyed" would transform to "we have fortified body and soul" instead of "we will give our soul and body for our freedom."
