New Buses to Serve Several Routes in Yerevan Starting Tomorrow

The Yerevan city hall announces changes to the routes of new and separate bus lines starting from April 2. From this date, microbus routes 10 and 21 will be replaced by bus routes 16 and 30, which will be serviced by new medium-class "Jong Tong" buses.

Microbus route 15 will be replaced by bus route 17, serviced by "Higer" brand buses. The operation of the routes will be conducted with 12, 11, and 10 units of vehicles with the following paths:

• Route 16: M/k "Gortsaran" (bus terminal) - Tamantsineri St. - Hakhtankaran St. - Bagratuni St. - G. Njdeh St. - Arshakunyats Ave. - Gr. Lusavorich St. - Mashots Ave. - Koryun - Abovyan St. - Abovyan Park - Saralanji St. - Azatutyun Ave. - Nersisyan - Ulnecy - P. Sevaki - Rubinyants - Achajyan St. - Achajyan St. 2nd Deadlock - Salt Mine (bus terminal). Return on the same route.
• Route 30: HAT (starting point) - A. Babajanyan - Zor. Andranik - Tichin - Sebastia - Leningrad - Kiev St. - Marshal Baghramyan Ave. - Moskovyan St. - Mashots Ave. - Koryun - Abovyan St. - Abovyan Park - Saralanji St. - Azatutyun Ave. - Tbilisi Highway - Tbilisi Highway Exit (near building 2a) (bus terminal). Return on the same route.
• Route 17: Avan (bus terminal) - Khudyakov - Almati St. - Tumanyan neighborhood - Marshal Babajanyan - Acharyan - Tsarav Aghbyur St. - Prothesization Center - Rubinyants Exit - Rubinyants - P. Sevaki St. - Azatutyun - Komitas Ave. - Griboedov - Hr. Kochari - Vagharsyan St. - Davtashen Canyon - Sasna Tsreri - T. Petrosyan St. - Davtashen 4th neighborhood (bus terminal). Return on the same route.

Currently, the existing bus route 15 will be serviced by 14 units of new medium-class "Jong Tong" buses. No changes have been made to the route:

Route 15: Nor Nork 4th block ("Sigar"] bus terminal) – A. Hovhannisyan - Bakunts - Gyulikevkhyan - Galshoyan - Minsk - B. Muradyan - Shoproni - Gyurjyan - Jugha - Nansen - Safaryan St. - Gayi - Myasnikyan Ave. - Abovyan Park - Abovyan - Moskovyan - Khajyan - Agatangeghos St. - Arshakunyants Ave. - G. Njdeh St. - G. Njdeh Ave. - Bagratuni - Artashisyan - Shiraki St. - Aeracia (bus terminal). Return on the same route to Gayi Ave. – Nansen – Jugha – Gyurjyan – Shoproni – Davit Bek (turnaround) - B. Additionally, the existing bus route 20 will undergo partial changes in its path. This route will be operated from Nor Nork 7th block to Nerkah Shengavit with 18 units of vehicles:

Muradyan St. - Gayi Ave. - Stepanyan - Moldovan - Vakhtang St. - Avan (Duryan neighborhood - Safaryan - Khudyakov - Almati - Marshal Babajanyan - Acharyan St. - Myasnikyan Ave. - Abovyan Park - Abovyan St. - Sayat Nova - Mashots Ave. - Gr. Lusavorich St. - Arshakunyats Ave. - G. Njdeh St. - G. Njdeh Ave. - Bagratuni St. - Tadevosyan – Taroncu St. - Nerkah Shengavit (bus terminal). From April 3, new microbus routes 48 and 62 will be launched, with 3 and 8 units of vehicles, respectively:

• Route 48: Zavaryan St. (bus terminal) – Khorenatsi – Nar-Dosi St. - T. Metsi - Artsakh Ave. - Arin Berd 3rd exit - JEK (hostels) (bus terminal). Return on the same route to T. Metsi Ave. – Zavaryan St.
• Route 62: Kanaker's 14th St. (bus terminal) – Z. Kanaker - Fanarjyan – K. Ulnetsi - Nersisyan St. - Azatutyun Ave. – Babayan – Davtyan – Riga – Hr. Kochari - Papazyan St. - Saralanji New Highway - Heratsi - Abovyan – Koryun - Charents St. - Sayat Nova Ave. - Khajyan - Tumanyan – Saryan St. – Mashots Ave. - Gr. Lusavorich St. - Yerevan City Hall (bus terminal). Return on Gr. Furthermore, the existing microbus route 38 will also undergo partial changes in its path. This route will be operated from the Prothesization Center to the Jrarashen neighborhood with 13 units of vehicles:

Route 38: Proth. Center (bus terminal) - Tsarav Aghbyur St. - Rubinyants Exit – Rubinyants - D. Anhanghhti St. - Azatutyun Ave. - Saralanji - Teryan - Koryun St. - Mashots Ave. - Gr.
