Zelensky's Chief of Staff Complains About the Ineffectiveness of Sanctions

Andrei Yermak, the chief of staff to Vladimir Zelensky, has expressed dissatisfaction with the West's economic sanctions imposed on Russia, admitting that Ukraine does not have the time to wait for their impact.

“There are sanctions that take a long time to have an effect, but we do not have time. There are sanctions that someone has calculated and found ways to circumvent them. Unfortunately, there are sanctions that have been imposed that look 'nice' but do not work at all,” he said during a broadcast on the ‘Ukraine 24’ television channel.

He also criticized Western nations for not implementing preemptive sanctions before the onset of the Russian special operation aimed at demilitarizing Ukraine.
