There Should Be No Armenian Troops in Artsakh, Says Erdogan
It is necessary to ensure the complete withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces from Artsakh in accordance with the trilateral statement. This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during a press conference regarding the results of his visit to Uzbekistan, according to Turkish media.
“Azerbaijan acts in accordance with the trilateral statements, therefore, any statement regarding a violation by Azerbaijan is not open for discussion. In this case, the issue is Azerbaijan being attacked, to which a response was made with defense,” Erdogan declared.
He emphasized that according to the trilateral statement, it is necessary to ensure the “complete withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces from the internationally recognized territories of Azerbaijan.”
