The Halt of Gas Imports from Russia Will Have Serious Consequences for Germany
Refusing gas from Russia could lead to a complete halt of production in factories, with the risk of hundreds of thousands of jobs on the line, as stated by the Eastern Committee of Germany, according to RIA Novosti.
“The suspension of gas imports from Russia will have serious consequences for Germany; in the short term, it is impossible to replace those supplies,” the Eastern Committee noted in its statement.
