Russia to Supply Gas to Germany in Euros
Russia will supply gas to Germany in euros. This information has been reported by German media.
It is noted that during a phone conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to provide gas to Germany in euros. The payment will be made through Gazprom Bank, which is not under sanctions, after which it will be converted into rubles.
Earlier, Austria announced that it does not intend to pay for Russian gas in rubles.
