Police Regarding Gunshots at Restaurant: 2 Injured

On March 15, police received reports from the hospital about two men, aged 36 and 27, from the village of Kaghsi, who were admitted with gunshot wounds. This was reported by the police.

An operational group from the Hrazdan police station discovered that the injured had sustained their injuries at a restaurant located at the 39th kilometer of the Yerevan-Sevan highway. A criminal case has been initiated by the territorial investigative body.

As a result of joint operational-search measures undertaken by the police of Kotayk province, along with the Hrazdan police, as well as investigative actions, it has been established that on March 15 at approximately 18:00, a 46-year-old resident of Hrazdan fired shots at the injured men from a firearm he possessed illegally in the restaurant's kitchen.

On March 30, the man presented himself to the investigative body handling the case. He has been charged. Measures are being taken to locate the instrument of the crime. The investigation is ongoing.
