Great Britain Supports Baku to Strike at Russia's Vital Interests: Beglaryan

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, Artak Beglaryan, wrote on his Facebook page:

“What does Great Britain have to do with Azerbaijan's recent aggression against Artsakh and Russia's security guarantees? These days, as Azerbaijan once again occupies settlements in Artsakh and strategically significant heights, the British Minister of Defense is visiting Baku, while discussions on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict are taking place with the Azerbaijani ambassador in London.

We witnessed Britain's overt support for Azerbaijan during the 2020 Azerbaijani-Turkish aggression. Now, amidst the occupations of Parukh and Karaghlukh, Great Britain does not even hide its strategic support. As to the extent and nature of the real assistance being provided behind the curtains, we can only speculate.

This is happening both to strengthen the positions of the Azerbaijani-Turkish tandem in the region and particularly at this moment to strike at Russia’s vital interests, which tramples upon the lives and security of the indigenous people of Artsakh. Meanwhile, the 'celebrated' human rights and democracy advocated by the West are of little significance in such geopolitical dirty games.”
