Russians Have Abducted Mayors of 11 Ukrainian Cities, Ombudsman Says

Since the beginning of the Russian war against Ukraine, Russian military personnel have abducted the mayors of 11 cities, reports RBK-Ukraine, citing Ombudsman Lyudmila Denisova.

Denisova stated, “Mass abductions of people by Russian soldiers continue in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine... In total, since the start of the war, the Russians have abducted the mayors of 11 cities and 8 other municipalities.”
