Russia to Prohibit Acquisition of Foreign Software Starting Tomorrow
President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation has signed a new decree. According to media reports, the decree prohibits the acquisition of foreign software for critical information infrastructure in Russia starting March 31. Moreover, from January 1, 2025, the use of such software will also be banned.
