Russia Allocates 1 Billion Rubles to Cultural Figures Under Sanctions
The Russian presidential foundation for cultural initiatives will allocate nearly 1 billion rubles to cultural figures affected by sanctions. This was stated by the first deputy head of the presidential administration, Sergey Kirienko, during a press briefing.
“In the near future, we will begin accepting applications for the second wave of grants. Given the sharp increase in the number of current applications, we must support creative teams that are under pressure and deprived of funding sources. A decision has been made to allocate 1 billion rubles,” he said.
According to him, “these funds are intended to be used to support cultural projects related to Russian cultural identity, traditional, spiritual, and moral values.”
