If Azerbaijan Swallows This, an Unprecedented Situation Will Arise: MP

Member of the National Assembly from the "Honorary Mission" faction Tigran Abrahamyan writes: "Many do not have a clear understanding of what the village of Parukh and the Karaglkh Mountain Range represent in terms of territorial and strategic significance. During this latest advance, Azerbaijan has captured a considerably larger area in the Karaglkh region than the administrative territory of the village of Parukh.

I mention this because some, either out of ignorance or deliberately, focus only on the village of Parukh in discussions, while strategically, different parts of the Karaglkh Mountain Range pose a significantly greater threat than Parukh itself. The Azerbaijanis have used Parukh as a transit zone and, immediately after the invasion, constructed bypass roads aimed at reaching various sections of Karaglkh, positioning themselves, fortifying, ensuring uninterrupted supplies, and, afterward, creating new challenges for the viability of Artsakh.

If Azerbaijan swallows this and its forces do not return to their starting points, an unprecedented situation will arise that could break the backbone of the section of Artsakh currently under our control. Even under the existing status and conditions, Artsakh already has serious problems, and Azerbaijan, through this new operation, has created a far more severe situation."
