Terrorists Blow Up Passenger Train in Nigeria
In Nigeria, terrorists have blown up a passenger train. This was reported on March 29 by the newspaper This Day, citing the director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation, Fidet Okiri.
According to the publication, an explosion occurred on a train transporting 970 people from Abuja (the capital) to Kaduna. In addition, many passengers have been taken hostage.
Preliminary reports indicate that an improvised explosive device was placed in one of the cars. As a result of the explosion, the train derailed, and several cars were damaged, TASS reported.
