Roman Abramovich Flies to Russia to Deliver Zelensky's Handwritten Note to Putin: The Times

Businessman Roman Abramovich, who has been involved in organizing negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv, has conveyed a handwritten note from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was reported by "Lenta.ru," referencing the British publication The Times.

The publication notes that Abramovich flew to Moscow after meeting with Zelensky to meet with Putin. The British outlet states that the businessman provided Putin with Zelensky's handwritten note outlining Ukraine's position on the terms of a peace agreement.

The report emphasizes that following his meeting with the Russian President, Abramovich returned to Istanbul, where he contacted Rustem Umierov, a member of Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada and the negotiator from Kyiv. Their meeting was arranged at a five-star hotel in the Turkish capital by Turkish official Ibrahim Kalin. Subsequently, Kalin told Hurriyet newspaper that they are "close to an agreement" on key issues.

It was previously revealed that Russian President Vladimir Putin personally approved Roman Abramovich's involvement in the negotiations concerning the peace agreements between Moscow and Kyiv.
