Insiders Begin to Imitate Pashinyan: 'Hraparak'

“Hraparak” newspaper reports: “Yesterday, on the International Theatre Day, the annual ‘Artavazd’ theatrical awards ceremony took place at the Opera Theatre. In the government box were the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, the Mayor of Yerevan, and the head of the Prime Minister’s staff, Arayik Harutyunyan, who was seated with a prayer bead in his hand. Months ago, Pashinyan also went to the National Assembly with prayer beads, which has seemingly become contagious, prompting insiders to begin imitating him.

In general, the example of the first person has always been contagious. Similarly, during Ter-Petrosyan's time, people began using mustaches, and during Robert Kocharyan's time, riding scooters became fashionable. Not to mention the attempts to speak like the first person and imitate his vocabulary. Therefore, it should not be surprising that the vulgarities and swear words in public speech have reached catastrophic levels today.”
