Putin Grants Title to Kadyrov

Russian President Vladimir Putin has granted the title of Lieutenant General of Internal Troops to Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. According to Lenta.ru, the information was confirmed by the speaker of the Chechen parliament, Magomed Daudov.

He emphasized Kadyrov's contribution to the fight against international terrorism in Chechnya. Daudov congratulated the Chechen leader on his new appointment.

Earlier, the Chechen leader had reported that all the men of the Kadyrov family are participating in the Russian special operation in Ukraine.
