Our Cities' Mayors Are Being Abducted, Some of Them Have Been Killed: Zelensky
The occupiers have killed several of the abducted mayors in Ukraine. This was stated by President Zelensky in an interview with The Economist.
“Our city mayors are being kidnapped. Some of them have been killed. We cannot find several of them. We have already found some, and they are dead,” Zelensky said.
It is noteworthy that on the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch of a special military operation aimed at the demilitarization of Ukraine. In a televised address, he stated that the circumstances “require decisive and immediate actions from us. The people’s republics of Donbas have appealed to Russia for help.”
According to the Russian leader, all responsibility for the bloodshed will lie with the regime that is in power in Ukraine. He urged Ukrainian military personnel not to follow the criminal orders of the Ukrainian authorities, to lay down their arms and go home.
