Court Denies Dubai Ruler Custody Rights Over Children

A British court dealing with the divorce proceedings of Dubai's ruler Mohammed Al Maktoum and his wife, Princess Haya, has determined that the father will not have the right to meet alone with his 10-year-old son and 14-year-old daughter, reports Kp.ru.

Moreover, the Dubai ruler will not be able to significantly influence their educational process. It is noted that the responsibility for the children's upbringing is entirely placed on the mother.

The judge is convinced that any request made by Princess Haya regarding the children's upbringing would allow the emir to exert his authority.
