Azerbaijani TV Channel Spreads False News Claiming Armenia Sends SU-30 Fighter Jets to Russia for Ukraine

The Azerbaijani Haber Global television channel, operating in Turkey, is falsely reporting that Armenia is sending airplanes to Ukraine. Azerbaijan and Turkey are not giving up on attempts to involve Armenia in the Ukrainian conflict. Specifically, the Azerbaijani Haber Global channel, citing Turkish intelligence, claimed that Armenia allegedly handed over SU-30 fighter jets to Russia, which will be used in combat operations in Ukraine along with their crews.

This was reported by infoteka24. Haber Global also states that sanctions may be applied against Armenia, which provides military support to Russia, and that a warning may be issued to it.

It is important to note that Haber Global is part of the Global Media holding, along with well-known Azerbaijani propaganda sites Media.az and Oxu.az. The chairman of the board of Haber Global is Azerbaijani businessman Elnur Abdullayev, while the general director is Mamed Gulmamedev. Employees of the agency have received awards directly from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

According to the publication's sources in military circles, this information does not correspond to reality. Earlier, the same 'Haber Global' agency reported that Russia is sending mercenaries from Syria to Ukraine through Armenian territory. The publication believes that the main objective of such information fillers is to damage Armenian-Ukrainian relations, as there is a large Armenian community in Ukraine, and to persuade the West to impose sanctions against Armenia.
