If Everyone Burns Bridges with Russia, Who Will Ultimately Talk to It? - Turkish Presidential Representative

Turkey and other countries must support dialogue with Russia to resolve the situation in Ukraine. This was stated today by Ibrahim Kalin, the official representative of the Turkish president.

"If everyone burns bridges with Russia, who will ultimately speak with it? Ukrainians need to receive support so they can defend themselves. However, Russia's arguments must be heard," he said.

Earlier, Ankara had repeatedly stated that it does not intend to join sanctions against Russia to avoid damaging its own economy and to keep the path for dialogue with Moscow open.
