Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry Claims Russia's Defense Ministry is Lying

Baku has responded to Moscow, stating, "The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan regrets that the points reflected in the statement of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation do not correspond to reality. The positions of the Azerbaijani army in the village of Parukh and the adjacent mountainous areas have not changed," the department noted.

According to the Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry, the information regarding the withdrawal of Azerbaijani army units from these positions is untrue. Baku also denies the report from the Russian Defense Ministry that the ceasefire was violated by Azerbaijan and does not confirm the presence of injuries among the military.

"The use of the term Nagorno-Karabakh in the statements of the Russian Defense Ministry is a disrespectful attitude towards Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, which has been recognized and acknowledged by the international community, including the Russian Federation," the statement reads. Azerbaijan reminded the Russian Defense Ministry about the content of the Declaration of Allied Cooperation, emphasizing that the Russian Defense Ministry is ignoring this document.
