All 123 passengers and nine crew members aboard the Boeing 737 that crashed in southern China have been declared dead, reports the Xinhua news agency.

Details were presented by Hu Zhenhong, deputy head of the Civil Aviation Administration of China.

As Bloomberg reports, the search for the flight data recorder of the crashed China Eastern Airlines Corp flight is ongoing, as authorities are trying to determine the cause of the Boeing 737-800 NG's crash on the mountainside in Guangxi province four days ago.
