Zhirinovsky is not dead: the senator who wrote about it has deleted the publication

The speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Volodin, has denied reports of the death of Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia. According to RIA Novosti, Volodin stated that Zhirinovsky is indeed in a serious health condition and wished for his speedy recovery.

“I want to reassure all those who are concerned about the health of Vladimir Wolfovich Zhirinovsky. He is alive. His condition is indeed serious. He underwent a CT scan today,” said Volodin.

It should be noted that earlier, senator Alexander Pronyushkin confirmed Zhirinovsky's death by posting about it online. Shortly after, Pronyushkin deleted the message regarding the politician's death from his channel and apologized for the misinformation.
