Azerbaijani Forces Have Advanced to Karaglukh: We Don’t Know What Will Happen, Says Parukh Mayor
Negotiations with Azerbaijani forces have yielded no results, and they have advanced to Karaglukh, remaining there for now. This was reported to 'Factinfo' by Vardan Mikaelyan, the mayor of the Parukh community in the Askeran region of Artsakh.
“The situation is the same as yesterday; the Russians continue to negotiate, but there is nothing coming from the talks. We don’t know what will happen, and they aren’t telling us anything,” the mayor stated.
According to him, the overall situation in Parukh is calm, with no gunfire reported; however, people are still evacuated. The mayor emphasized that Karaglukh is a very important height from which the adversary can monitor the villages below.
“All the villages below are Armenian, and they can all be monitored by the Azerbaijanis,” Vardan Mikaelyan noted.
