Losing Karaglukh Is Dangerous: It Is a Dominant Height, Says Hakobyan on the Situation in Artsakh

“Losing Karaglukh is dangerous. It is a dominant height,” stated former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, General-Major Movses Hakobyan, in an interview with 168.am regarding the Azerbaijani escalation in Artsakh.

The military figure expects active work from the authorities, believing that if diplomatic solutions are not found, military operations will continue.

Earlier, it was reported that this morning, the Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh addressed the conflicting information received from Artsakh yesterday through an official statement. Specifically, it announced that Azerbaijani military units had invaded the territory of the Republic of Artsakh, violating the requirements of the trilateral statement of November 10, 2020, taking control of the village of Parukh in the Askeran region and adjacent positions. Two contracted servicemen have been killed on the Armenian side.
