Azerbaijani Units Use Striking Drones
Azerbaijani units opened fire on March 25 at night on the positions of the Artsakh Defense Army, utilizing both various calibers of small arms and striking drones. On March 24, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the requirements of the trilateral statement of November 10, 2020, by invading the Republic of Artsakh's territory under the responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping forces, seizing control of the village of Parukh in the Askeran region and adjacent positions. They then attempted to advance in the eastern border zone of the Republic of Artsakh, reported the Defense Army.
“Hours of negotiations between the Russian peacekeeping forces and the relevant authorities of Artsakh did not yield significant results, and the adversary did not return to their initial positions. As a result of the exchange of fire, at least 5 servicemen from the adversary side were killed, while there is one wounded on the Armenian side. As of 09:00, the situation is relatively stable. We expect that Russian peacekeepers will take measures to return Azerbaijani units to their initial positions,” the Defense Army stated.
